Day 7 Saint Antoine..... To Lectoure 24.5kms 687m (127.7kms 2764ms)

 Oo la la!!! (OMG/Wow!)

I am writing this a day late SORRY,  I was just too tired.

This was quite a day! Day 7 is maybe hump day. Maybe we will now be match fit? We sure hope so!

Back to the beginning.

What a great little village.

The cobbled street has been closed off, with the restaurant on one side and the BnB on the other. Tables in between. Drinks in the street, dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the BnB. Everyone is family or a friend.

The BnB was very old but beautifully decorated.

We learnt at breakfast that our host and the restauranteur were an item.

On the trail again. At 5 KMS we stopped in this towns square. Quite a walk up. Nothing open. No people.

At 10kms we stopped in a tiny village for coffee. We had an apple slice and bought another pastry as insurance.

Lunch was another 8 kms in another tiny village. We arrived to see three tradesman with beers. But nothing open???? We asked about the beers and they said theirs were the dregs of the keg. One of them offered us soft drinks or beers YES we say. He had a van and did pizzas in 5 different villages a week. They were renovating the cafe - in time for the proper tourists I guess. We were lucky - 2 drinks with sugar! and a pastry for lunch!

7 more kms to walk.

It's great when you can finally put your feet up! We watched Alex De Minaur win his first match in Monte Carlo, then a drink and dinner๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Bye for now!
