Lauzerte to Le Tuc 20.6kms 599m (68.9kms 1771m)

You won't find Le Tuc on any map.
There is a house, and we are staying in it. The town of Moissac is another 8 kms on, and that was just too much for one day.
We have a private room but it is basically a hostel so. Bags stay downstairs, packs go into plastic tubs, no soap, single beds, no key for our door and no glasses for water - we coped, because we are tough.
Dinner was basic, a shredded spiced carrot entree, a sausage and potatoe bake main and a chocolate mousse.
No wine - Ross scarcely made it through the night 😭
It had been our longest days walk so far, but we were lucky. At 12kms our only possible lunch stop was open. Our guide book said closed Saturday but when we got there at 1pm Saturday, the sign said closed Wednesday.
The sun stayed out leading to a very pleasant days walk through pasture lands
They grow plums, apricots, kiwifruit, pears and apples.
We think this was a grain silo
Bye for now!
